当时安东尼奥尼是受中国政府邀请去中国拍摄纪录片的, 但影片中反映的形象与官方想象的大不相同, 于是有了人民日报的批判文章. 1982年中国政府为此事件向安东尼奥尼道歉.

        This is a theme throughout the first part of the movie, while they see some virture in the simplicity of life in poverty. Unfortunately, the movie is very long and I had to leave after the first part. :(
